Why The Jyoti Path?
.The word Jyoti (pronounced Joe-tee) comes from Sanskrit and means light. More deeply, it can represent illumination, divine light, and the light within.
When I first discovered the word, something about it stayed with me.
I have come to see life as a path of becoming. There are seasons when we know exactly where we're going and others when we find ourselves questioning, changing, searching, or beginning again. Through all of it, I believe there is a light within us that can help us find our way back to ourselves and, perhaps, toward something greater.
That is what Jyoti means to me.
The Jyoti Path represents the journey toward that light. Not a perfectly mapped road or a promise that every question has an easy answer, but a willingness to seek, listen, learn, and remain open to what we discover along the way.
There is a Sanskrit prayer from the Bṛhadāraṇyaka Upaniṣad that beautifully reflects this:
Tamaso mā jyotir gamaya.
From darkness, lead me to light.
Those words have become especially meaningful to what I hope The Jyoti Path can represent: a place for illumination, reflection, spiritual exploration, and discovering the wisdom that already exists within you.
Walk gently. Breathe deeply. Trust your path.
